    The Weems and Plath Tamaya Marine Navigation Spica MS 733 Sextant with Split Horizon Mirror and Light is designed to literally circumnavigate the globe. This equipment has proven its quality and accuracy over many years of use by ocean-going navigators, including professional fishermen, merchant marines, navy personnel, and yachtsmen alike.
    Built for precision, toughness, and reliability, the MS 733 Sextant has a measuring range of -5 to 125 degrees and +/- 10-second accuracy. The frame is constructed of lightweight die-cast aluminum alloy with corrosion-resistant black finish and features a rubber eye protector.
    The MS 733 Sextant's optical system is designed to ensure maximum performance with a full 57 by 42 millimeter index mirror that is aluminized on the rear side and a 57-millimeter diameter horizon mirror. With full illumination of both the arc and drum, the sextant is designed for ease of use. A 4x40mm telescope is included; a 7x35mm prism scope is available online.
    The sextant comes with a fitted case of molded plastic with two side locks, two (2) spare light bulbs - the light works and the battery compartment is free of corrosion. Two small wrenches to adjust the mirrors are also included. The sextant can be stored in the fitted case with either scope mounted.
